Q: Where do I manage seat allocations for my team?

Answer: Go to your Profile -> Membership -> Subscriptions. Next to the Subscription that corresponds to the team membership you want to manage, click “Sub Accounts”.

Q: Our Team Subscribes via RubyTapas, how do I manage our subscription and seat allocations?

You and/or members of your team may have seen emails about how RubyTapas content is being rolled into my new developer training site: Graceful.Dev. You might have questions about what that means for your RubyTapas team account.

Here’s what you need to do to enable your team to continue to enjoy RubyTapas content on the new Graceful.Dev site: absolutely nothing.

You can continue to administer your team account at rubytapas.com. Users you add to your team account there will automatically be given Graceful.Dev logins. There they can continue to enjoy the stream of videos formerly known as RubyTapas, and now known as The Tapastry. In addition, they’ll have access to the continually growing garden of living courses on Graceful.Dev, including Reproducible Development with Containers, Master the Object-Oriented Mindset, Flawless Ruby, and more.

At some point in the future, the legacy RubyTapas content will stop being available on RubyTapas.com and will instead redirect to the equivalent pages on Graceful.Dev. If you or your team members have any difficulty getting to their content on the new site, please get in touch and we’ll sort it out.

However, RubyTapas.com will remain available for legacy account management indefinitely. I think it’s easier for everyone if you aren’t forced to move your subscription to a new site 😊
