How about Katrina Owen? I know she was working in Go quite a bit; it’d be really fascinating to hear how that’s changed her approach to development in general and OO in particular.

How about Robert Martin aka Uncle Bob.
Another interesting option would be Andrzej Krzywda from Arkency. They lots of materials on rails and even have a course on using DDD with ruby and rails.

Whoever the Q&A guest is, here’s one question I wished I had asked during Justin Weiss’ Q&A:
What do you use for complex client-facing JavaScript when using Rails as a backend? Some thoughts I’ve considered:
- TurboLinks + Stimulus
- React/Vue/Angular managed by Wepack added in Rails 5
- CoffeeScript
- Standalone JS app statically hosted with a reverse proxy to the Rails backend
I spend most of my time in Rails working on fairly complex GIS applications. Highly interactive mapping on the frontend and complex geospatial queries in Postgis/Rails on the backend.
Anyway, are there any Q&A guests who are strong in Ruby or Rails backend but also work with complex JS-driven client code?
