Nothing is Something talk
I’ve watched this talk’s several versions several times in the past, but never this particular version. There’s 1 new thing that stood out for me this time around.
Near the end she said (and I paraphrasing) Inheritance is not he right solution for this. But if I had to do Random House and Echo House I would have used inheritance. But I would’ve run away from it the moment I needed to write Random Echo House.
This really talked to me. I’m always struggling with comming up with the right solution or a solution where very little code was needed to write any new requirement. But never even considered the idea of this is right for now and I can always throw it away and change the approach if the requirements change.
