One of the joys of working in Ruby is the rich ecosystem of open-source libraries available from the RubyGems archive. There are some gems that any Ruby developer is likely to be familiar with, simply as a byproduct of doing development using popular frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
But there are others which are easy to miss if you don’t know to look for them, and some of them could make your coding life significantly easier. That’s what this course is about: introducing you to some true “gems”–in multiple senses of the word–to keep in your toolbox.
This course is a Graceful.Dev Garden Path, which means it is a guided pathway through a collection of (mostly) self-contained topics. Its status is: growing, meaning that there is a significant amount of material here already, and more is expected in the future.
